Legend Realty began in 2012 when Jim and Dena Hoekenschnieder, together with Jeanne Allen, set out to create a different kind of real estate company—one that combined the resources and expertise of a larger organization with the relationships and local focus of a hometown brokerage.
The idea caught on quickly. What began as a vision for a more collaborative real estate company grew to nearly 70 agents within its first two years and expanded its presence across Huntsville and Madison.
More than a decade later, North Alabama has changed, real estate has evolved, and Legend Realty has grown right along with it. But the foundation remains the same: experienced people, local knowledge, strong relationships, and a commitment to serving the communities we call home.
